PRC is hiring a full-time Office Operations Supervisor to supervise the front desk and general office operations of the organization. The Office Operations Supervisor will be a working supervisor for the front desk team, as well as ensure program and administrative needs are met, and office operations are effective. This is a 40-hour per week position that will work a varied schedule based on the needs of the organization. This position will have an office in our Wheaton Campus, with the expectation that the candidate filling the role will have a regular presence at our Westmont location.

Candidates must be available to work within the following business hours:
  • Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 9:00pm.
  • Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm.
  • Saturday: 7:00am – 1:00pm.

Essential Functions:
  • Supervise front desk staff.
  • Actively work shifts each week, providing coverage for lunch, time off, etc.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to front desk procedures; oversee and implement office operations activities according to policies/procedures.
  • Provide input to manager on planning and budgeting needs.
  • Maintaining an active phone listing, training new employees on phone usage, and providing up-to-date references for users.
  • Implement an effective and efficient room scheduling system.
  • Provide active shift coverage for front desk staff as needed.
  • Other projects as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience required.
  • Five (5) years of experience in office operations required.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Ability to work effectively with volunteers, clients, staff, and visitors.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to respond appropriately in varied situations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications.
